‘My Little Monster’ Getting Live-Action Film

My Little Monster Volume 1With Robico’s manga series My Little Monster having ended back in 2013 with thirteen volumes, it’s now been revealed that a live-action film is in the works. With TOHO behind it, it’s set for a 2018 debut with Sho Tsukikawaw directing it. The two leads have been cast as well with Masaki Suda as Haru Yoshida and Tao Tsuchiya as Shizuku Mizutani.

Kodansha Comics has been releasing the manga in North America in print and digital form.

An anime adaptation arrived in 2012 that was streamed by Curnchyroll and released on home video by NIS America.

Plot concept: Shizuku and Haru have their happy ending, but what about their friends and family? Everyone is the hero of his or her own story. Sasayan, Natsume, Iyo, Yuzan—they all have their own tales to tell. What paths will they follow? Find out in this final volume of My Little Monster!
