‘Endride’ Anime Adds Crunchyroll Distribution

Endride Hulu HeaderWhile a lot of what Funimation has been bringing over to Crunchyroll as part of their partnership have been older shows, they’re also slinging some new material there as well. One of those is the Endride series, which is now available in full there in its original Japanese language with English subtitles. With it being a more recent shows, the availability is much better as it’s open to viewers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark.

The series was directed by Keiji Gotou of Kiddy Grade fame among others, and the series composition comes from rom Touko Machida. The character designs were done by Kazushi Hagiwara and Nobuhiro Watsuki and it was animated at Brains Base.

The Japanese cast for the series includes Kensho Ono as Shun Asanaga, Toshiki Masuda as Emilio Langheim, Karen Miyama as Alicia, Ayaka Ohashi as Faralion, Hiroki Takahashi as Demetrio, Kousuke Toriumi as Eljuia, Shizuka Itou as Louise, Yuuma Uchida as Felix, Akio Ohtsuka as King Delzaine, Yuu Mizushima as Pascal, Tomoaki Maeno as Gidoro and Tetsu Inada as Ibelda.

Ryota Fujimaki performed the ending song with go my way while the opening song is Limit from Luna Sea.

Plot concept: Shun Asanaga is a 15-year-old junior high school student with an optimistic and bright personality. One day, he finds a mysterious crystal at the office of his father, a scientist and a businessman. When he touches it, the world becomes distorted, and he is sent into the world of Endra. Emilio, a prince of the kingdom of Endra is nearing his 16th birthday and despises the reigning king Delzain. Since Emilio is now at the age when he can inherit the throne, he takes up a weapon and attempts revenge. However, because Emilio is too weak, he is captured by Delzain and put in prison. When Emilio is in grief, the wall of his cell becomes distorted and Shun appears from there. One, with a goal to return to his own world; another, with a goal to complete his revenge. What future lies ahead for the two boys trying to survive in Endra yet raised in two different worlds?
