MVM UK announced the pickup of the original Tenchi Muyo OVA series back in June 2016 and they’re now getting the scheduling underway after dealing with all the materials for it. The plan at this time is for a July 10th, 2017 debut for the show in bilingual for with a 325 minute running time. It’s being produced as a DVD/BD combo priced at £49.99.
They previously brought the show out on DVD back in 2004 with singles and then a complete version in 2005. Unfortunately, unlike that collection, the Mihoshi Special will not be included with this set.
Plot concept: Tenchi is an average guy who just accidentally freed the space pirate Ryoko after 700 years of captivity! Attractive alien girls from all across the galaxy are about to descend on Tenchi and make his life more outrageous than ever imaginable!
