Crunchyroll Adds ‘Baldr Force EXE’ Anime Streaming

Baldr Force EXEFunimation has brought out another of its series onto the Crunchyroll service for streaming in its original Japanese language with English subtitles with Baldr Force EXE. The four episode OVA originally came out in late 2006 and early 2007 with a 2008 DVD release from Funimation. Availability for it is simple with it open to viewers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.

Directed by Takashi Yamazaki based on the script by Hiroshi Ohnogi, Hideki Yamazaki worked on the character designs with Satelight producing the animation.

The Japanese cast includes Kenichi Suzumura as Toru Souma, Noriko Shitaya as Ren Mizusaka, Daisuke Ono as Yousuke Kashiwagi, Hitomi Nabatame as Ayane Shido, Keiji Fujiwara as Kuwong, Mai Nakahara as Minori Segawa, Nana Mizuki as Ryang, Rina Satou as Tsukina Sasagiri and Shizuka Itou as Kirsten Kaira.

Plot concept: The Wired World exists on a network of servers which can only be accessed by the mind. Souma Toru knows the logged-in land well; his hacker gang once had the run of the place. When tragedy tore his group apart, he was forced to join FLAK: a military organization that protects the hidden data paradise. Toru vows to avenge the dead of his past, even as new ghosts take shape in the present.
