With a September 22nd, 2017 release set for Matthew Vaughn’s next film with Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Fox has now dropped the first trailer for it and it’s definitely a doozy. Having thoroughly enjoyed the original film with what it did and the style of it all, this one looks to go bigger in all the right ways and will hit the right beats with the humor.
The original film did strong numbers with a $414 worldwide theatrical take and a good bit added to that with home video and other distribution means.
The film will star Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. It’s directed by Matthew Vaughn and written by him and Jane Goldman.
Original concept: Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
