The latest rankings have come in from Japan with what’s selling in the realm of anime DVDs and Blu-ray’s and we have a bit of a light week once again. This week doesn’t feature and big movers and shakers but we do see that Haikyu takes the top of both charts, getting to around 8,000 units combined for the show. Several of the titles are second+ week sales, some of which have very good numbers like Love Live! Sunshine!!, that’s definitely showing the strength of those properties. Yowamushi PEdal: New Generation drops its first volume and moves more on DVD than Blu-ray for a 3,800 combined unit run. Frankly, there’s not much to take away from this round of releases based on what makes the charts and how low some of the ongoing sales are for some of these, as expected, though it’s nice to see Yuri!! on Ice adding a few more sales.
