We learned back in December in the Monthly Comic Gene magazine that the Polar Bear in Love manga is getting an anime adaptation, though there still aren’t any details on it. What’s definitely exciting to see is that Yen Press has now picked up the rights to the manga. We’re expecting to see a short-form TV series over some other options since it’s a short manga series with just two volumes released since it began in December 2014 from creator Koromo.
Plot concept: The manga revolves around a polar bear who falls in love with an earless seal, and he wants nothing else except to protect him, even though the seal constantly thinks the bear will eat him.
