The latest manga and light novel rankings have come in from Japan to showcase what’s catching attention there. This week is an interesting one as a good chunk of the top ten manga releases are second week sales, including Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare with its latest volume taking the top spot as a second-week release with 122,000 units. I Am a Hero is fresh at 83,000 in fourth place and we get the second Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card showing well at 70,000 units.
On the light novel side, the newest Re: Zero holds up well in first place with another 19,000 units moved while Kenja no Mago and Last Embryo bring new releases to the top three. We’re not seeing a lot of movement on full runs of series like we have in the past with new anime adaptations but tere are some very solid sellers continuing on here with second and third week sales.
