Fans of the Gunbuster franchise have had some options to check out more material in the years since and one of those is the DIEBUSTER the Movie release. That’s now found some expanded streaming availability thanks to Tubi TV now bringing out the feature film as you can see below. It’s in its original Japanese language with subtitles only as the film was not dubbed previously.
The film was written by Yoji Enokido and was directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki at Gainax.
Plot concept: One day, Nono sets out for the capital to become a space pilot, and meets Lal’C… neither realizing the future of humanity rests on the both of them.
