Ben-To Header 4-3While Funimation brought out the fun that is Ben-To previously as a regular release, the show saw a SAVE priced-down edition on March 14th, 2017 and have now released a trailer for that particular edition of it. The twelve-episode series has a DVD/BD combo release that’s just $30 list, which is really amazing when you think about it – especially if you’re an old timer like me that used to pay that price for two episodes on VHS! The set comes with some great extras as well that includes the Episode 3 Commentary, Episode 7 Commentary, Bento Brawl with Justin Rojas and Joel McDonald, Textless Opening and Closing Songs, U.S. Trailer, and other Trailers.

Be sure to check out our review of the full season set.

Plot concept: Every day an epic struggle rages in grocery stores across Japan—the battle for half-priced bento boxes! Once the discount stickers go on, ravenous brawlers start throwing punches in a knockdown, drag-out war over who gets to take home the cheap eats. When a young, broke high school student named Sato joins the Half-Priced Food Lovers Club, he proves to be a rising talent in the world of insane food fights. But does he have what it takes to become the king of clearance cuisine? From the director of Black Cat comes a very different type of hunger games. Welcome to the world of Ben-To, where chopsticks are lethal weapons, the supermarket is a battleground, and there’s nothing more delicious than a deep-fried win.
