‘UQ Holder!’ Anime Adaptation Announced

UQ Holder VisualWith the manga for Ken Akamatsu’s series UQ Holder! moving right along with twelve volumes out and the thirteenth next month, an anime adaptation has been revealed for it. The new series is being planned for a fall 2017 debut with Yousuke Suzuki directing it based on the series composition by Ken Akatsu and Shogo Yasutagawa. Masahiro Fujii is on board with character designs while JC Staff will be handling the animation.

The initial casting has revealed that Yuka Takakura will voice Touta Konoe.

Plot concept: Negi Springfield, the boy wizard of the hit manga Negima!, fought and won many battles. Now it is decades later and Negi’s grandson(!), a little boy named Touta, dreams of leaving his quiet village and heading to the City.
