A new anime adaptation has been announced that’s set for sometime in 2017 with the Juuni Taisen property getting the nod. The novel from writer NisiOisin and artist Hikaru Nakamura is a prequel to the Oogiri work and it came out in 2015. While more details are expected at AnimeJapan 2017 in a few weeks, we do know that the series will be produced by Graphicina with Nobuhuko Okamoto on board to voice the character of Usagi.
Plot concept: The story is about twelve special fighters who battle against each other in order to have their one wish come true no matter what. These fighters represent the twelve Chinese Zodiac.
