The latest sales rankings have arrived out of Japan for the manga side of the market with the period ending February 27th, 2017 and there are some solid movers in the mix. The manga side is familiar with what it has as more Terra Formars and One Piece move units while Kimi ni Todoke with its 28th volume takes the top spot with 175,000 units. Akame ga KILL has a solid hit at 90,000 units while Kakegurui is just under that after its recent anime announcement. We also get some good numbres for the second season of Angel Heart.
On the light novel side Sword Art Online continues to dominate with another 34,000 units added to bring it to just under 210,000 since it debuted. We also finally get to see Kimi no Na Wa getting ready to depart the top ten as it has just 6,000 unts to keep it firmly over the 1.4 million mark, which continues to be hugely impressive. The final Zero no Tsukaima volume debuted in this period with a strong 26,000 units that should delight fans of the property.
