Kodansha Comics Adds ‘Peach Heaven!’ Manga

2 min read

Peach Heaven Volume 1 CoverAs we mentioned yesterday with our daily breakdowns of newly released manga and comics, Kodansha Comics has quietly added a new series on the English language front with Peach Heaven. Known as Momoiro Heaven during its original Japanese release, the property comes from creator Mari Yoshina and ran for thirteen volumes between 2007 and 2012 as serialized in Dessert magazine. Kodansha Comics is bringing this out digital-only (for now, at least) with the first volume priced at $10.99 that you can find here. Unlike House of the Sun, only the first volume has been solicited so far.

Plot concept: At first glance, Momoko Shina may appear to be nothing more than your average high school girl, but she has a secret identity as the famous erotica author George Aihara. After she witnesses an intimate moment between one of her teachers and the supermodel Ranmaru, she borrows a little too much from reality in an effort to beat the deadline on her latest story. When Ranmaru gets wind of this, he makes Momoko an offer she can’t refuse… Watch the sparks fly as these two try to figure each other out in this high-tension romantic comedy!
