eromanga-sensei-visual-12-28Things are progressing for the anime adaptation of Tsukasa Fushimi and Hiro Kanzaki’s manga series Eromanga Sensei – My Little Sister and the Locked Room as we get close to it as part of the spring 2017 season. The latest additions comes in the form of some new cast members being announced. Nobunaga Shimazaki has joined as Kunimitsu Shidou while Mikako Komatsu is on board as Ayame Kagurazaka.

The Japanese cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Masamune Izumi, Akane Fujita as Sagiri Izumi, Minami Takahashi as Elf Yamada, Saori Ōnishi as Muramasa Senjyu, Ibuki Kido as Megumi Jinno and And Yui Ishikawa as Tomoe Takasago.

Ryohei Takeshita is directing it while Tatsuya Takahashi is handling supervision of the scripts for the series. Hiroyuki Oda is on board for the character designs and A-1 Pictures will be producing the animation for this Aniplex production.

Plot concept: The story revolves around Masamune Izumi, a light novel author in high school. Masamune’s little sister is Sagiri, a shut-in girl who hasn’t left her room for an entire year. She even forces her brother to make and bring her meals when she stomps the floor. Masamune wants his sister to leave her room, because the two of them are each other’s only family.

Masamune’s novel illustrator, penname “Ero Manga Sensei,” draws extremely perverted drawings, and is very reliable. Masamune had never met his illustrator, and figured he was just a disgusting, perverted otaku. However, the truth is revealed … that his “Ero Manga Sensei” is his own younger sister! To add to the chaos that erupts between the siblings, a beautiful, female, best-selling shōjo manga creator becomes their rival!
