Tubi TV Now Streaming ‘ZX Ignition’ Anime Series

Z/X IgnitionWith a simulcast run previously through Crunchyroll and then Discotek Media picking it up for a home video release, Z/X Ignition has now found itself a new streaming home with Tubi TV. The company has picked up the winter 2014 anime series based on the trading card game of the same name by Broccoli and Nippon Ichi Software with the twelve episodes now available here. .

The series was directed by Yuuji Yamaguchi based on the screenplay from Jin Tanaka and animated by Telecom Animation Film.

Plot concept: In the not-so-distant future, five portals suddenly appeared acting as gateways to alternative worlds. However, these five worlds are actually the same world, but in different timelines. As the situation becomes increasingly dire, the inhabitants of each world will stop at nothing to ensure the survival of their own timeline, even at the expense of the other timelines. The key to survival lies in one card-shaped device.
