Funimation Reveals ‘Gosick’ Anime Dub Cast

Gosick Part 1 CoverFunimation announced this week that they picked up the license for the Gosick anime series and has the first half of it planned for a May 30th, 2017 release. The DVD/BD combo set has also been a surprise in that it was dubbed as well, something you didn’t quite expect for a series that was originally licensed by Bandai back in the summer of 2011 and has been languishing since. While the production side was not revealed, we have a look at the extensive cast list that makes up the show with a range of supporting characters that really makes for some fun as there are some fresh faces, some we don’t hear from often, and a number of regulars as well that will make this series a treat for dub fans.

Plot concept: In this 1920s tale of dark intrigue and romance, Japanese exchange student Kazuya Kujo strikes up a fast but uneasy friendship with the doll–like genius Victorique. Both outcasts, Victorique and Kujo explore the unsolved mysteries at their school. As they begin taking on more cases, a sinister plot begins to unfold in the shadows around them.
