My Love Story Volume 5 HeaderOne of the more popular properties of the last couple of years is Ore Monogatari!!, aka My Love Story!!. With an anime adaptation behind it that saw release from Sentai Filmworks, fans have been digging into the manga to get more of it. Viz Media has the North American rights to it and have kicked off a new sale via ComiXology and Amazon Kindle where they’re now priced at $4.99 a volume, a 50% savings over the print price. The first ten volumes that have been released so far are currently on sale here.

The series comes from writer Kazune Kawahara and artist Aruko which began in 2011 and ran for thirteen volumes before completing in July 2016.

Plot concept: Takeo Goda is a GIANT guy with a GIANT heart. Too bad the girls don’t want him! (They want his good-looking best friend, Sunakawa.) Used to being on the sidelines, Takeo simply stands tall and accepts his fate. But one day when he saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the train, his (love!) life suddenly takes an incredible turn! Takeo can hardly believe it when he crosses paths with Yamato again, and he finds himself falling in love with her… But with handsome Sunakawa around, does Takeo even stand a chance?
