First ‘Schoolgirl Strikers’ Anime Soundtrack Promo Debuts

schoolgirl-strikers-visualThe winter 2017 anime series Schoolgirl Strikers: Animation Channel has has a number of character CDs coming out from the folks at Warner Bros. Japan and they’re also doing a bit more than that. While details are still not finalized in terms of tracks or even the product ID number yet, an original soundtrack for the property is scheduled for a March 29th, 2017 debut priced at 2,500 yen. Ahead of that, the distributor has now dropped the first promotional spot for it.

The series was directed by Hiroshi Nishikori based on the series composition by Takao Yoshioka. Yuichi Tanaka handled the character designs and was animated at JC Staff.

The Japanese cast includes actors that participated in the game with Kaori Ishihara as Tsubame Miyama, Rina Hidaka as Satoka Sumihara, Miyuki Sawashiro as Io Yaginuma, Kana Hanazawa as Yumi Sajima and Yui Ogura as Mana Namori.

Plot Concept: The newly established private high school for girls, Goryoukan Academy, has a hidden face that people on the outside don’t know about… Mysterious apparitions called “Oburi” have appeared from a rift in space-time. The only ones capable of fighting this enemy of mankind are girls known as “Strikers,” who have the ability to sense the fifth dimension. Goryoukan Academy is actually an organization that seeks out girls who are more than meets the eye and trains them up for the “Fifth Force,” a combat force created to subjugate the Oburi. The story of the battles and friendships of five girls who comprise the newly assembled team “Altair Torte” is about to begin!
