Get ready for some fun this summer as the latest Bessatsu Shounen Magazine is revealing on February 9th that the Aho Girl manga from Hiroyuki is getting an anime adaptation. Scheduled for a summer 2017 debut, the series has set Keizou Kusakawa asthe general director with Shingo Tamaki handling direction. Series composition comes from Takashi Aoshima with character designs by Masakazu Ishikawa. Diomedia is on board to anime the project.
The manga comes from Hiroyuki and began back in November 2012 with eight volumes published so far. The manga was picked up by Kodansha Comics USA with the first volume set to be published in June 2017.
Plot concept: This 4-koma style manga features Yoshiko, a genuinely stupid girl (she can even manage to get all 0’s on multiple choice tests). She hangs out at school with her childhood friend, who she claims to like, and he has to put up with all her ridiculous behavior!
