The opening episode of this series gave us a decent look at Morina as we saw how she ended up working in the Italian restaurant while having no real knowledge of the cuisine, much to the chagrin of the chef. But, as we see at the start here, she’s a hard working and is doing her best to figure out the fundamentals. We get a bit of a rundown on how the household side of the restaurant works when Maro comes home, which fills in the blanks nicely, but the main focus is on the restaurant itself. The cast grows with the addition of Konno, another chef who’s putting together some Penne Arrabbiata to be served. He’s obviously the attractive male of the cast but also the intense chef type that practically makes Morina relieve herself as he goes on with how she doesn’t know how to handle his creations. It’s a deadpan type with some strange quirks that’s now a part of things and it adds some colorful moments to the show.

In Summary:
Piacevole does some good second episode stage setting and introductions of what else is going on in the restaurant and its household in general. Doing it through the eyes of Morina is an easy way to introduce everything and the focus on Konno works nicely as he’s certainly quite the personality. The show continues to look great and I like the little quirks and various ways things are presented with simpler animation to drive the point home. Though the series is not an out of the park hit or anything it’s definitely becoming a fun and enjoyable little distraction as part of the season.
