While Dark Horse Comics moves along with their omnibus releases of the I Am A Hero manga as the third volume is coming in April, it looks like they’ll be able to plot out their end run for it now. According to Comic Natalie, the series from Kengo Hanazawa is slated to end this year with seven chapters left, including the new one that landed this month with its return in Big Comic Spirits. The series has twenty-one volumes to its name and got a live-action film last spring.
Plot concept: The zombie apocalypse has never been more surreal. A mentally unhinged manga artist witnesses the beginning of a zombie outbreak in Tokyo, and he’s certain of only two things: he’s destined to be the city’s hero, and he possesses something very rare in Japan—an actual firearm!
