Seven Seas Entertainment has another great license acquisition this week with the Record of Lodoss War: The Grey Witch novel, which is known as one of the most beloved and iconic Japanese fantasy novels. The publisher is going big with this release by doing a collectible deluxe release will contain the complete in English for the first time in a large trim hardcover, gold embossed edition. Ryo Mizuno’s original fantasy epic will be accompanied by illustrations by Yutaka Izubuchi, known for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam and Escaflowne.

You’d be hard-pressed to find an adult anime or manga fan who hasn’t had some experience with it, whether it be the anime, manga, or even the Dreamcast game,” says Seven Seas Editor-In-Chief Adam Arnold. “Being the inspiration for decades of fantasy stories after it, we’re thrilled to be releasing this stunning edition of the original Grey Witch novel for readers of all generations to enjoy.”
Seven Seas will bring out this Gold Edition release on October 31, 2017 for $24.99 US / $28.99 CAN.
