We’re continuing to work with a new retail partner to see if we can generate some sales on some interesting titles and they’ve dropped us a new coupon code to work with one of my favorite OVA series, Freedom. Coming off of watching Hidden Figures last night and the blasts from the past with the space race and this future vision of things to come has me ready to watch it again. The set from Bandai Visual USA is dwindling with how many copies are out there these days – and the show is still unlicensed by anyone else – so being able to get it for $48.99 instead of $139.98 is definitely a sweet deal.

Plot concept: In the 23rd century, mankind has fled Earth and emigrated to the moon. The last outpost of civilization is the Lunar Republic of Eden, where the omnipresent Citizens Administration Council grants residents everything they need. But what do you do when you discover everything you believe is a lie? A single photograph with an inscribed message found inside a rocket launched from Earth leads a group of young men to question the counsel ruling the seemingly utopian city. But what length will they go to discover the true meaning of Freedom?
