Seven Seas Acquires ‘Magical Girl Special Ops Asuka’ Manga

magical-girl-special-ops-visualSeven Seas Entertainment has picked up a license that will look good on retailers shelves when it lands with Makoto Fukami and Seigo Tokiya’s Magical Girl Special Ops Asuka property. The series began its serialiation in Big Gangan in the summer of 2015 and doesn’t have a lot of material out overall yet. Seven Seas bring out the series in print in North America as single volume editions with the first volume scheduled to be released on November 28, 2017 for $12.99 USA / $14.99 CAN.

Plot concept: When the Earth is threatened by the sudden appearance of undead creatures, a group of young women blessed with powers from a mysterious source rose to defeat them. Now, after three years of apparent peace, the same malevolent creatures have resurfaced. Five magical girls are once again conscripted to war as the Magical Girl Special-Ops force, to defend mankind from an unholy nemesis.
