2 min read

Itakiss HeaderTMS Entertainment previously brought out the Itazura na Kiss series on Hulu back in the summer of 2015 but it was part of the larger purges that went on last year with a lot of anime leaving. That’s now been corrected and the entire twenty-five episode series is now beginning to stream on Hulu. It originally aired in 2008 in Japan with TMS Entertainment and Bandai Visual behind it. It was directed by Osamu Yamasaki with character designs by Maki Fujioka. Discotek Media brought the show out on DVD last year. The show is based on the manga of the same name which was created by Kaoru Tada. The original manga, which ran in the shoujo magazine Margaret, ran for twenty-three volumes between 1990 and 1999. The manga has been released by Digital Manga Publishing.

Plot concept: Ever since she entered high school, Kotoko Aihara wanted to be in the same class as Naoki Irie. The only problem is that Irie is the smartest student in school contrast to Kotoko being one of the dumbest. Now in her 3rd year of high school, she still isn’t there. However, one day her home gets destroyed and the only place left to go to was Irie’s home. Now that she lives close to him, will their relationship be the same, or will it become greater than it is?
