The official site for the upcoming original series Seiren has updated again with TBS Animation bringing out a new 50-second promotional spot for the show. It works as a bit of a clip before going into a montage of sequences set to the opening theme song from it while highlighting the premiere schedule and the upcoming CD release. This new project will feature a new story that takes place at the same high school as Amagami SS and is scheduled to air in January 2017 on TBS, BS-TBS, and Sun TV. The show is set to be directed by Tomoki Kobayashi based on the series composition from Kisai Takayama, who also did the original character designs. Those are being adapted by Naoto Hosoda. The animation studio behind the project is Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ.
The Japanese cast includes Aya Sakura as Hikari Tsuneki, Juri Kimura as Kyouko Touno, Shiori Izawsa as Miu Hiyama, Shiroi Mikami as Makoto Kamizaki, Honoka Kuroki as Ruise Sanjō, Shino Shimoji as Tōru Miyamae, Manami Numakura as Tomoe Kamita, Atsushi Tamaru as Shouchi Kamita, Ryouta Asari as Ikuo Nanasaki, Saki Fujita as Yukie Takato, Yukiyo Fujii as Yoko Kikuchi and Juri Nagatsuma as Toka Maruishi.
n terms of the theme songs, Hanako Oku will perform the opening theme “Kimi no Hana” while the ending theme songs will alternate with each of the voice actresses performing a different one as each episode focuses on a different girl.
