Magic of Stella Visual 8-11The fall 2016 anime series Magic of Stella is getting its home video release plans handled by Media Factory and they’ve set a pretty good schedule for it. With the first volume out today in Japan, Kadokawa has dropped a new TV spot to herald its release and remind fans that they needed to get out there and pick it up! The twelve episode series will be getting a four-volume release that begins on December 21st, 2016. Te DVDs will be priced at 6,500 yen each while the Blu-ray’s are priced at 7,500 yen. Each release comes with a bonus CD of some sort as you can see in the chart below.

The series was directed by Shinya Kawamo based on the series composition from Fumihiko Shimo. Hideki Furukawa handled the character designs and it was animated at Silver Link.

The cast includes Maria Naganawa as Tamaki Honda, Rie Murakawa as Shiina Murakami, Ari Ozawa as Ayame Seki, Aoi Yuuki as Kayo Fujikawa and Ryouko Maekawa as Yumine Fuda.

The manga comes from creator cloba.U which began back in 2012 and has three volumes out as of the end of January. No details about the production were revealed but based on its origins it’s a solid shot at being another short-form show that hits the gags quick and smartly when it does arrive.

Plot concept: Tamaki Honda, a new high school student joins a doujin game development circle.
