With the setup of the loud monster movie that Tokine and her friends went to see the last time around we got the basics of how the next trip to Quizin would go. I enjoyed watching Tokine and the others exploring the theater, talking about what they liked at the movies, and just the general fun of these women together without it all being about the problems Tokine is facing or any potential men in their lives, which is a welcome change of pace from so many shows.

With Tokin in the Quizin world with a good sized crowd from the audience seeing the film, we get the other woman that’s able to interesting here known as Kuen, the real name of the person that Tokine interacted with earlier on in the series. Hachin’s fully aware of everything that’s going on and who Kuen really is and that sets the two of them to work on the latest puzzle in order to get them out. This one plays with scheduling by using the movie theater showings list and has both of them transforming to deal with it. Kuen has a pretty good outfit and it complements both her and Tokine’s outfit as it fits in with how Hachin’s Quizin world operates. As for the puzzle itself? I’ll leave that to puzzle fans as it just doesn’t work for me.

In Summary:
While there’s some mild action toward the end and some fun interaction at the start between the two women, and even Hachin, Nazotokine essentially has another back half story episode going on here where the main focus is on the puzzle and that just does not work for me in the slightest. There are cute moments but it pales compared to what the story episodes are like that precede these pieces and this one is no exception.
