NY Times Manga Best Seller List For November 19th, 2016

The latest rankings have come in from the New York Times with what’s selling according to their bestseller lists. It’s a familiar week once again as the top ten is made up almost entirely of Viz Media titles that are pretty darn evergreen at the moment. While Kodansha Comics is still flexing its Attack on Titan muscle as it’s a book that casual consumers will grab since it gets recommended so much, Viz just dominates. Legend of Zelda retains the top spot and will do well throughout the holiday season, but the latest My Hero Academia hits in second position to show some strength. The rest of the list? A mix of One Piece, One-Punch Man and Tokyo Ghoul. Those titles continue to draw in new readers on a regular basis and the recommendations and product placement make it very easy for it to rise and hold in the charts.
