New ‘Hetalia: The World Twinkle’ Anime Dub Clip Highlights A Hero’s Job

hetalia-world-twinkle-header-11-23Funimation has a new complete collection that came out earlier this month with the recent incarnation of this property with Hetalia – The World Twinkle. Arriving back on November 8th, 2016 as a DVD-only release, which mirrored previous collections, it was priced at $34.98 for the 103 minute collection of short form silliness. The clips are still coming along though and I’m certainly not minding as it’s a fun way to get some mild silliness and just enjoy something cute, particularly as we get a minute-long piece that really does showcase just what kind of a character America is, much to Britain’s chagrin.

This season of the series focused on material from the fifth and sixth volumes of the manga from Hidekaz Himaruya. The show was directed by Hiroshi Watanabe based on the series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and character designs by Mariko Oka. It was animated at Studio DEEN.

FUNimation has previously licensed and streamed/simulcast the seasons as well as acquiring the rights to the movie as well. The series continues to be a strong player in the social media world with the manga installments generating a lot of traffic when they come out. Right Stuf has been releasing the TOKYOPOP manga volumes as print on demand for the first several volumes and regular print run for the rest. All six volumes are available now.

Season concept: Catch up with the nations in this latest season where we have more silly shenanigans. Germany and Italy are going on and on aboutcanned food? Ugh, are you sure that’s safe to eat?! In between the fun, we have something super special! Watch little America in a totally adorable flashback that is going to make your heart swell. Sh-Shut up, I’m not crying, you’re crying!

And don’t forget to check in on the Nordic nations and see what’s going on with all those blondes. Wait Estonia, what are you doing there? And there’s even more adventure to be had when we go on a hunt for more micronations. Yay! Who will join Sealand in his journey to bring attention to the micros?

But make sure you don’t miss out on the four extra special OVAs, including a Halloween special. Oh my gosh, everyone looks so cute in their costumes! Look at America dressed as and oh, look at you, England! Squee!!
