2 min read

Kuromukuro Visual 5-16After bringing out the Japanese language episodes of Kuromukuro previously for the two cour that it ran, Netflix is now updating the series page with dubbed episodes. Of course, leave it to Netflix to do this in a truly unusual way as they’ve added dubbed episodes for just the second cour so far, which makes it kind of a weird way to say the least. No dub credits are available for the production at this time either.

The show was directed by Tensai Okamura with Ryou Higaki composing the overall series design while Yuriko Ishii worked on the character designs.

The Japanese cast for the series includes Yohei Azakami as Kennosuke Tokisada, M.A.O. as Yukina Shirahane, Reina Ueda as Sophie Noelle, Asami Seto as Mika Ogino, Kaito Ishikawa as Ryoto Akagai, Yusuke Kobayashi as Jundai Kayahara, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Jose Carlos Takasuka, Manami Sugihira as Marina Unami, Momo Asakura as Koharu Shirahane, Kanako toujo as Hiromi Shirahane, Ryohei Kimura as Tom Borden, Hikaru Ueda as Liu Shen Mi and Taiten Kusunoki as Sebastian. The supporting cast includes Katsuyuki Konishi as Graham, Lynn as Rita Juri Kimura as Beth, Kouichi Makishima as Minoru Aramata, Hiromichi Tezuka as Jirou, Rina Satou as Paula, Hidenobu Kiuchi as Takekuma-sensei and Tetsuo Gotou as Oshou Yakushi.

MICHI performed the ending theme song Realistic while GLAY performed the opening theme song Desutopia.

Plot concept: During the construction of the Kurobe Dam, an ancient artifact was discovered, and so the United Nations Kurobe Research Institute was established. Intellectuals from all over the world gathered to study the object, and the children of those researchers attend Mt. Tate International Senior High School, including the institute head’s daughter, Yukina Shirahane. In the summer of 2016, a lone samurai once again awakens.
