It’s a new week of tracking the manga sales in Japan and it’s one of the bigger release weeks as well, though it captures just a few days on sale for some of these titles. The latest One Piece volume has landed to the tune of 1.6 million copies and will continue to grow solidly from there, and the final volume of Bleachbows with a 248,000 unit debut in its days. We also get good numbers overall for the limited run periods of titles like Gintama and My Hero ACademia. The top ten also includes some good newer titles like Platinum End with its fourth installment and the second week sales for Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare, which we’re definitely keeping an eye on.
On the light novel side, Kimi no Na Wa is finally dethroned from the top of the list, though the various title sout combined keep it pretty high. The tenth volume of Konosuba enters its full week with 3,900 copies to bring it to just under 62,000 total since it came out. And we’re sure that’s just going to continue to grow as we get closer to another anime season. There’s a lot of ongoings here but we also get two new series charting, with Youheidan no Ryouriban hitting 15,000 total in its full sales while the debut of Tensei Majutsushi no Eiyuutan is about to break the 8,000 unit mark.
