‘Alice to Zouroku’ Manga Getting Anime Adaptation

Alice & ZourokuA new anime adaptation is in the works for 2017 with Alice to Zouroku, which is based n the manga series which began in 2012. It was created by Tetsuya Imai as part of the Tokuma Shoten magazine and saw print compilation back in early 2013 and it currently has seven volumes out as of this week. Imai’s previous works were with two Kodansha series with Bokura no Yoake and Hacks!. No production information was revealed about the property but we’re expecting more from the next installment of Comic Ryu where the adaptation is getting a nod on the cover of the magazine.

Plot concept: The story centers on a little girl called Sana, who is one of the children that holds the power of “Alice’s Dream,” an ability that enables her to materialize anything she imagines. After escaping a lab where she was a test subject, Sana ends up in a normal world where she encounters an old man named Zouroku, but will he help her?
