With eighteen SimulDubs planned for the season, Funimation has a lot to get going and new shows rolling out fairly regularly. The Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru series is getting ready for its premiere tonight at 9:30pm ET on the Funimation site and they’ve now revealed the full cast and staff for it, which includes a number of new names. The series has set Jad Saxton as the ADR director working with script writer Clint Bickham, ADR engineer James Baker, and mix engineer Neal Malley. The cast includes:

This series was animated by Doga Kobo and was directed by Takashi Naoya from the scripts by Pierre Sugiura while Junichiro Taniguchi worked on the character designs.
The Japanese cast includes Mitsuhiro Ichiki as Yasusada Yamatonokami, Toshiki Masuda as Kiyomitsu Kashu., Daiki Yamashita as Imanotsurugi, Reona Irie as Toushirou Maeda, Tarusuke Shingaki as Heshikiri Hasebe, Junji Majima as Aoe Nikkari, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Kotetsu Hachisuka, Kento Hama as Yoshiyuki Mutsunoka, Soma Saito as Toushirou Hamazuo and Kaito Ishikawa as Kanesada Kasen.
The game itself kicked off in January 2015 and was developed by Nitroplus and DMM Games.
Plot concept: The year is 2205. The “historical revisionists” have begun attacks on the past in their plot to change history. The Saniwa, who have been charged with protecting history, can imbue life into objects. Strongest among these are the Tōken Danshi. The story centers around their cheerful lives.
