The latest rankings have come in from Japan with what’s selling in the manga and light novel realm for the week ending October 23rd, 2016. It’s certainly a bit brighter than the week before in terms of numbers with Kingdom bringing out its 44th volume and hitting 422,000 units in its opening salvo. We also get solid numbers for Seven Deadly Sins while the latest Ace of the Diamond II is performing quite well, too. Chihayafuru adds another 101,000 units and we’re seeing some very good numbers for Dagashi Kashi.
On the light novel side, Kimi no Na wa continues its hold on the top spot as it adds another 53,000 units to bring it further into the million seller range, and more so when you add all the other editions that are out there as well.
