What They Say:
The match is now in the second match. Karasuno tries to attack, but Shiratorizawa’s middle blocker, Tendo keeps blocking all of their attempts. As he blocked Karasuno’s spikes one after another, Tsukishima calmly stared at their opponent’s side of the court.

The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
This episode starts off featuring Tendo from Shiratorizawa with his ability to use his intuition and good tracking to this advantage. Karasuno temporarily gets wrapped up in Tendo’s unusual ability, but the coach reminds the team to not focus too much on Tendo as intuition is only that.

Taking the advice to heart, the team does what they can with many players being substituted into shake up the game. It’s Tsukishima (Tsukki) that emerges as the key to their possible victory. He’s been watching the tempo and gauging the time to jump for blocks since the beginning of the match, and finally he’s ready to reveal to his plan. The team puts their trust in him and it looks like his strategy will be a winner.

In Summary:
An episode is always good when you can sense a change about to happen. This episode is exactly that. The title and the set up eludes that Karasuno will find themselves further pinned down by Shiratorizawa. But, there’s a glimmer of hope that changes everything.

I was glad to see the focus shift to Tsukki as the episode progressed. Previous seasons and the last episode gave hints that Tsukki was the key to analyzing possible scenarios to fight back. When it all came together, it was awesome. Tsukki found his way to be gave back to his team.

As always, Haikyuu!! delivers fast paced scenes mixed with great moments of humor and relationships. As always, I can never recommend Haikyuu!! enough.
