With Sentai Filmworks picking up the rights to the fall 2016 series Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Legend Star, they’ve now expanded the distribution to another service as Hulu has begun streaming the series. While Hulu has expunged the bulk of their catalog titles this year and had little to nothing during the summer season, some new shows for the fall are starting to populate it again. The staffing side is mostly the same with the addition of Sayaka Konno working on the series composition alongside Konparu while Maki Fujioka is on board to work the character designs and serve as the chief animation director, a change from the previous season where Mitsue Mori handled both positions.

Plot concept: Utano☆Princesama Revolutions continues after the end of Uta no Prince Sama 2 when budding boy band ST☆RISH wins the Uta Puri Award for best new rookie group. All seems well for them and Shining Agency’s other group QUARTET NIGHT, but soon an opportunity to perform in the opening ceremonies of an international sports festival surfaces. It’s group against group in a fierce battle that will take more than 2000% to win; it will have to be a LOVE REVOLUTION!
