2 min read

youjo-senkiThe fifth volume of Youjo Senki revealed back in January that an anime adaptation was coming and things have been pretty quiet since. Now, the official site and Kadokawa have released a new 75-second promo for it while revealing that it’s full name is Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya the Evil. There’s no dialogue with it to be had nor any details of the cast or staff but we do get some good instrumental music that certainly sets the tone for it.

The Enterbrain published series is written by Carlo Zen with illustrations from Shinobu Shinotsuki and began back in 2013. An audio drama came with the third volume as wel.

Plot concept: On the front lines of the war, there is a little girl. Blond hair, blue eyes, and porcelain white skin, she commands the army with lisping voice. Her name is Tanya Degurechaff. But in reality, she is one of Japan’s most elite salarymen, reborn as a little girl after angering a mysterious being who calls himself God. This little girl, who prioritizes efficiency and her own carrier over anything else, will become the most dangerous being amongst the sorcerers of the imperial army.
