Scheduled for November 21st, 2016, the DVD-only release will be priced at 2,160 yet. It’s essentially an eighty-minute special that contains the original first episode and then a compilation of greatest hits from the next fifty episodes to showcase the series that has had singles and box set releases previously.

Originally airing in the fall of 1986 and running for 51 episodes, the series worked to bring the toycom games that were popular at the time to greater life. The show was overseen by Minoru Okazaki with Akinori Nagaoka as the chief animation director. It stared Yuu Mizushima and Chie Koujiro.

Plot concept: The story starts off by the kidnapping of Genjin Takahashi, a superstar in the world of toycom games. He is kidnapped by Kyura-the-Great, who plots evil in order to rule this game world and become the star himself. Honey Bee, living in this game world and also the girlfriend of Genjin, learns of this and sets out to save him. She goes to the actual world to seek the help of three game geniuses and brings these three toycom buddies to the game world. With their help and desperate struggles, they try to overthrow Kyura-the-Great and rescue Genjin. Can they overcome the numerous roadblocks of hidden tricks and riddles?
