The 24th film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise debuted on April 16th, 2016 in Japan with Crayon Shin-chan the Movie Fast Asleep! The Large Attack on the Dreaming World to good results. Now, the film is beginning to make its way overseas a bit more as Odex is releasing it in Singapore soon. Ahead of its October 12th, 2016 debut they’ve now brought out an English subtitled trailer that gives folks a better idea of what it’s all about.
The new work brings back Wataru Takanashi to direct based on the script and ideas from Hitori Gekidan and Takanashi.

Original concept: Crayon Shin-chan follows the wacky antics and adventures of five-year-old Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara and his parents, neighbors, and friends and is set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Many of the jokes in the series stem from Shin-chan’s occasionally weird, unnatural and inappropriate use of language, as well as from his inappropriate behavior. A typical gag involves Shin-chan confounding his parents by using the wrong phrase for the occasion; for example, saying “Welcome back!” instead of “I am back!” when he comes home.
