Shonen Ashibe Go! Go! Goma-chan Episode 4While the summer spring 2016 anime series Shonen Ashibe GO! GO! Goma-chan had its home video release plans set previously, which included a brief summer hiatus, we’re now closer to the actual release itself from Media Factory. Ahead of the first set debut, the packaging design and cover look have been revealed which brings us a whole lot of cuteness! The show will be getting two DVD box sets in the coming months that will bring the thirty-two episode run out in full. The sets are both priced at 6,458 yen each,  owing to the shorter run time for each episode.

The anime adaptation, which Crunchyroll is streaming, has Nobuhiro Kondou directing based on the composition from Toshimitsu Takeuchi. Studio Bridge handled the animation. Previously done as an OVA and two TV series in the early 90′s, the original work ran between 1988 and 1994 in Young Jump magazine and originally six-volume release.

Plot concept: The story describes the daily life of Ashibe (an elementary school boy) and his family and friends, including a pet white sea lion.
