The spring 2016 anime series Pan de Peace! previously got its home video marching orders in Japan with Media Factory handling the show. With the first volume released earlier this month, we’ve now got a look at the packaging and cover in full sized quality form to check out for the second set due out on October 5th, 2016. The series is getting a two-set release from the distributor where it’s Blu-ray only. Both releases are priced at 4,000 yen with the first set having six episodes on September 2nd, 2016 and the second set having seven episodes on October 5th, 2016. The extras are copious for this release as the first set says they have plans for 65 minutes of extras while the second set lists 130 minutes of planned extras.
The show was directed by Hatsuki Tsuji based on the series composition from Momoko Murakami and character designs by Shizue Kaneko. It was animated at Asahi Production.
The main cast includes Ibuki Kido as Minami, Eri Yamazaki as Yuu, Moe Toyota as Fuyumi, Nichika Omori as Noa, Madoka Asahina as Mai Kawai and Natsuko Hara as Ami Sakura.
The series comes from creator emily via the Comic Cune magazine where it’s been running in addition to the ComicWalker service. The series had its first compiled volume released last August.
emily has a few works to their name including the Love Colon hentai manga that previously got an OVA adaptation.
Plot concept: Today, Minami becomes a high school student. She begins her day by eating her favorite bread and enjoys a happy daily life together with her “bread buddies.”
