The latest rankings have landed from Japan with what’s making an impact in the manga and light novel market for the week ending September 11th, 2016. This week has the recent My Hero Academia release taking the top spot again as it adds another 161,000 units to its total. We get the same in a sense for the top four titles where they double up on their numbers from their first week with Food Wars, Seraph of the End and World Trigger.
On the light novel side, Kimi no Na wa continues to be a powerhouse as it adds another 106,000 units to its total, bring it up to 552,000 so far, though we at least get a great start to the 20th volume of Irregular at Magic High School as that debuts with 53,000 units moved. It’s definitely a big period for Kimi no Na Wa however!
