Rumi asks the boys to dress up as girls for Halloween.

As time passes we now get to Halloween and that leads to some fun here in seeing character pairings and eroticism come into the mix, sometimes in unwanted ways for some characters. Rumi gets it into her head to have everyone dress up though the guys aren’t interested in her idea of crossdressing for the occasion. A few tears and crying goes a long way in convincing them and that leads to some utterly adorable – and horrible – transformations as the reality doesn’t match up to the fantasy. When the other guys show up and see it all, well, it takes its own weird twists, especially as one of them provides the help in getting the makeup done right to make Nakamura pretty attractive. When he works his magic on Rumi she ends up becoming an almost different person. There’s some cute bits in how she handles all of this as well as feeling like she can’t stack up next to the guys done up as women.
In Summary:
Holiday themed episodes are always a little dicey but I tend to enjoy the odd Halloween one when they actually have fun with things like costumes and the like. This one plays it well with some cute chibi versions of the characters for a moment and then Rumi getting her wish and having to struggle with it in a lot of different ways. It’s light and simple but it hits all the right notes for a very enjoyable episode with the group.
