We’ve known that the Akame ga KILL! manga is in its final arc for a bit now as when it hit its twelfth volume back in 214 it was revealed that it was starting that arc. With the release of the 14th volume of the series out, the wrparound on it has revealed that the 15th volume due out later this winter will be the last one. So there’s only a few more chapters left before the series draws to a close.
The manga comes from writer Takahiro and illustrator Tetsuya Tashiro as published by Gangan Joker. It began in 2010 in Japan and has fourteen volumes to date. Yen Press began releasing the manga in North America in January 2015 with the sixth volume released earlier this week. Sentai Filmworks has picked up and released the anime adaptation for the series as well.
