With a character like Green Arrow that has been around for decades, the top ten stories that have been covered before is just a sliver of what the character is known for. DC Comics is now looking at the stories that go beyond the evergreen stories that we know like the Longbow Hunters to dig into other stories. One of my favorite was the Wonder Years series as well as the time spent with Batman when the two were trying to figure out if they could do more good in their real world identities.
There’s also a great Elseworlds kind of story that’s in the mix as well, which is something that the character is easily worked into. One of my favorites into this list is the Blood of the Dragon storyline with its focus on Shado and family angles from there.
