1 min read

GTO HeaderCrunchyroll has added another series that we saw get a home video release from Discotek Media recently as they now have the entire 43 episode run of GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka available on their service as of today – this time in dubbed form. The streaming service added the full main series in its original subtitled form back in January 2015. The series originally ran back in 1999 and 2000. The series has the entire run available for premium members while free members will get a new batch of fourteen episodes released each week until it’s all caught up.

The series is available to audiences in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark and the Netherlands.

Plot concept: Meet Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old ex-biker and college karate champ. He’s crude, foul-mouthed, and has a hair-trigger temper. His goal: to be the greatest high school teacher in the world! Unfortunately, the only teaching job available is at Holy Forest Academy (no certification required). There he uses his street smarts to deal with colleagues and students alike.
