With the show having some fun with Tokiko’s Room as its main focus, this installment brings in the Trichronika group. Being my first experience with them, we get a fun introduction through their pretty boy ways in seeing how they totally win over Tokiko, who has dolled himself up in order to be quite appealing to them in his own way. Shu and the twins are fun with their upbeat aspect and I love that we see them providing a commercial here, since those tend to be comedy gold from an American perspective in general. The interview session delves into the music side of it for a bit, but it’s mostly just fluff and not all that interesting. The fun is just in watching the guys and how they act as it reveals their personalities well.
In Summary:
The show does some cute stuff here as it introduces to me the group Trichronika since I’ve never watched the main show. The guys are cute enough to be sure and you can get an easy idea of their personalities quite well from it. Tokiko is a bit over the top, but that’s to be expected, and I liked the commercial sequence more than anything else even if it didn’t go as weird and odd as it could. I imagine I’d get more from this if I had seen the main show but what we get serves as a cute tease of what I’ll see eventually.
