Citing production quality problems that they can’t fix in a quick way, the official site for Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars has announced that after yesterday’s broadcast of the fourth episode of the series that it’s being suspended. The show is set to resume broadcast on September 1st with follow-ups by streaming services AnimeLab, Daisuki, and Funimation as well. It appears, by the wording, that they’ll be starting from the first episode again, but that feels a little uncertain. It was also revealed that the recently announced home video releases will be delayed by a month to compensate.
The series was directed by Shin Tosaka working from the series composition from Keigo Koyanaga while Kimitake Nishio did the character designs and served as the chief animation director. The original designs from QP:flapper. Actas animated the project.
The cast includes Yurika Kubo as Sarah, Yui Ogura as Tia, Asami Seto as Ingrid, Nao Touyama as Kei, Kaede Hondo as Yui, Ayane Sakura as Rena, Hisako Kanemoto as Retsu, Megumi Ogata as Johann, Azumi Asakura as Aoi, Yuka Iguchi as Naru, Masako Katsuki as Margaret, Hiroshi Yanaka as Marshall and Hidenari Ugaki as Theodore.
Plot concept: Sisters Yui and Rena live a peaceful life in the kingdom of Enastoria, but they become involved in a vortex of destiny when a giant robot attacks Enastoria.
